1300 miles from 13 February to 3 April 2010
Having arrived in Salvador after our Transatlantic crossing, I had to unexpectedly return home for 6 weeks. On my return to Mina2 in February 2010 we continued our passage south, via Rio de Janeiro, to the Bahia Ilha Grande where we laid the boat up for the austral winter at Marina Bracuhy. Mina2 was awarded the Archie Black Prize by the Royal Cruising Club for “outstanding work in connection with pilotage information” supplied on this cruise
