3500 miles from 19 May to 9 September 2005
This was our second cruise. Starting from St Katherine Docks in the heart of the City of London we set sail across the North Sea to Denmark in May 2005. We then made our way in to the Baltic Sea by the novel route of crossing the whole of Sweden through the Gota Canal. Once in the Baltic we cruised through the Stockholm Archipelago, via the Aäland Islands to Finland as far as Helsinki. We then continued via Estonia, and Latvia, thence to Denmark and back to the UK through the Kiel Canal, arriving at the Beaulieu River for the RCC annual meet in September.
